Helping your child reach their full potential.
My name is Ann Bloor and I've been a registered childminder with the Care Inspectorate (Number – CS2022000346) since October 2022, offering my services throughout the East Ayrshire area.
I'm well-versed in the love and dedication that childcare demands. The understanding I've gathered through my journey of interacting with children right from infancy to those with varying complexities strengthens my resolve to serve as a devoted childminder.
I possess remarkable experience and skills that make me adept at providing an engaging childminding service. The insights I've gained from my roles as a nanny and a caregiver have deepened my understanding of how a top-notch care service should be.
My love for creativity will surely add a dash of colour to your child's life. I aim to seamlessly blend my artistic skills into craftwork designed for children, ensuring they enjoy a wholesome learning experience. I'll also engage them in a broad spectrum of fun yet educational activities that stimulate their minds.
Making social interactions a part of their routine, I regularly take children to toddler groups, providing them ample opportunities to mingle with their age group. This also allows me to connect with fellow childminders and continually learn from their experiences and advice.
I completed a comprehensive induction course in childminding through the Scottish Childminding Association, covering vital topics like child protection, health and safety, child development, and behaviour management. Completed SCQS 7 in Social Services Children and Young People. Undertaken extensive courses in working with children with special needs including ADHD and Autism as well as Makaton Sign Language and I am a qualified pediatric first aider.
With my registration, I can care for up to six children at a time, with a maximum of three not yet attending primary school and only one under the age of one.
I adhere to Care Inspectorate requirements and Scottish Government guidelines by embracing the Getting It Right for Every Child (GIRFEC) approach and the eight SHANARRI well-being indicators: Safe, Healthy, Achieving, Nurtured, Active, Respected, Responsible, and Included.
I will strive to:
